Los Angeles, CA — On June 6, 2026, the Russian Orthodox School LA (ROSLA) at Holy Transfiguration Cathedral overflowed with joy, pride, and heartfelt emotions as the vibrant Class of 2026 celebrated their long-awaited graduation. Families, clergy, educators, and the entire Russian-American community gathered to honor the graduates’ achievements and mark this milestone filled with love, faith, and hope for the future.

Father Ioann, Director of the School, delivered an inspiring and deeply moving speech, offering blessings and personally congratulating each graduate with genuine fatherly warmth while presenting their diplomas.

A special highlight was the presence of Victoria V. Sabelnik, Executive Secretary of the Congress of Russian Americans, who gave a heartfelt speech full of encouragement. She presented official certificates and meaningful gifts, reminding everyone of the importance of preserving our Russian language, culture, and Orthodox faith.

Janis Terauds, Rector Director Emeritus, shared wise and emotional reflections on the school’s journey. Lyudmila Petlitskaya, Administrative Director, and Рипсиме Еноковна (Ripsime Enokovna), the dedicated high school teacher, were warmly recognized for their tireless care and guidance that helped shape these young hearts and minds.

The ceremony was rich with many touching speeches, warm well-wishes, and words of parting advice from teachers, clergy, and guests. In return, the graduates presented their own heartfelt program — filled with performances, gratitude, and bright emotions that moved everyone to tears of joy.
